Typical floorboard thickness ranges from 18–22 mm. Keep in mind that OSB is not waterproof – in high-humidity areas, additional protection is required.
Preparing the Substrate
Clean the OSB surface of dust and debris.
Apply a primer to improve adhesion and reduce absorbency.
Reinforce the structure if the boards are thin (<18 mm).
