Application:
Designed for creating a secure and durable connection between aluminum starter strips and plaster in external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).
Functional Properties:
Enables strong, break-resistant bonding between the aluminium starter strip and the structural plaster layer.
Equipped with an integrated dripnose, effectively diverts water away from the façade, preventing moisture accumulation at the bottom edge.
Prevents plaster detachment at the transition point between the starter strip and plaster.
Special bottom edge profile minimizes plaster splatter and ensures a clean finish, ready for zinc plating if required.
Assembly Instructions:
Installation: Slide the BP1S bead mechanically from the top onto the vertical edge of the aluminium starter strip.
During the façade mesh installation, apply adhesive in one go to cover both the BP1S mesh and the façade mesh for seamless integration.
The bead ensures a tight, aesthetic, and functional connection between components, extending the life and visual appeal of the insulation system.
