CEKOL C-14 is a dry mixture of high quality white cement, white mineral fillers and modifying substances ensuring good adhesion and dripping resistance. It may be used in every kind of living and public buildings. CEKOL C-14 is an elastic, frost and water resistant as well as heating resistant tile adhesive for use inside and outside buildings.
The base should be clean, compact, carrying and free of grease. Paints, loose sand and plaster particles and layers not bound with the base must be removed. Strongly absorbable bases (e.g. gas concrete) should be primed with the CEKOL DL-80 priming emulsion. In the case of floor unevenness, the CEKOL L-01 self-levelling floor is recommended.
Pour the package contents to cold water in the proportion of 0.20 – 0.25 liter of water for 1 kg of dry powder and mix thoroughly until a uniform thick mixture is obtained. Then wait 3 minutes and mix thoroughly again. Apply the plaster to a prepared base in a uniform layer of 3 to 5 mm. Even up the applied layer with a trowel or a toothed spatula. Lay the panels with a slight pressure. When glueing panels on terraces or in places exposed to waterlogging, apply the adhesive to the entire base surface and also to the lower side of panels. Stick the panels on not later than 20 minutes after applying the adhesive to the base. The panel position can be corrected within 10 minutes from laying.
