CEKOL DL-80 is a deep penetrating emulsion used for priming gypsum, concrete and brick surfaces before applying self-levelling floors or sticking on ceramic tiles. It can be used inside as well as outside buildings. CEKOL DL-80 emulsion can be used as protection for plaster surfaces against moisture and atmospheric conditions.

PROPERTIES: CEKOL DL-80 is a non-toxic and non-flammable emulsion which does not contain organic solvents. The emulsion strengthens surfaces at the same time increasing the adherence of putties, plasters and cast floors. CEKOL DL-80 improves uniformity of plasters; primed plaster surfaces are easier to paint, it also inhibits detrimental chemical reactions between gypsum and cement. When used with self-levelling floors it slows down the absorption of water by the surface which in turn improves spreading and prevents formation of bubbles. After drying, a transparent and slightly glossy coat is formed on the base which is water and alkaline agents resistant in the same time allowing for water and gases to vapour.
BASE PREPARATION: Non -grease base must be clear of loose pieces, particles, dust and of non-absorbable elements, like oil paints, old tiles etc..
APPLICATION: Ready-mixed emulsion is to be applied in a uniform layer using a brush, roller or spray. Note: Forming of puddles must be avoided.Apply 2-3 thin layers of CEKOL DL-80 in order to increase surface resistance to atmospheric conditions. Each consecutive layer of the emulsion must be applied after total absorption and preliminary drying of the preceding layer. During application and drying the surrounding and base temperature must be positive, best in the +5oC to +25oC range. Further work can be carried out when the primed surface is fully dry. Drying time depends on the ambient temperature and humidity, is from several to 24 hours.
Drying time: from several to 24 hours, depending on temperature and humidity
Coverage: 1 liter/ 15 m2 (may differ significantly depending on base absorbability)
Work temperature: +5oC to +25oC
Product has the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH) Attestation
STORAGE: The emulsion should be stored in dark compartments (away from sources of heat), protected from overheating and frost. Shelf life is up to 12 months.
