TRAVERTINE
MAGNAT Style Travertine is a decorative structure that can be used to successfully imitate natural travertine surfaces, including the characteristic pitting and cavities. Travertine is available in a wide variety of colours and can be used to decorate walls and other architectonic details indoors. It is great in combination with retro and modern design. The finished coat is very durable which is why it is used in public utility rooms. Specific special skills in application of these types of materials are required to apply this product.

Application:
STAGE 1
Paint the surface intended for decoration with MAGNAT Style Undercoat once.
STAGE 2
Apply uniform and smooth first coat (grain size) of Travertine using the Venetian float on a dry surface after priming. At the same time smooth it out so as to avoid lumps. Leave to dry for min. 12 hours.
STAGE 3
Before starting application of the next layer, wet the entire surface with water using a roller.
STAGE 4
Apply the second layer of Travertine in the same way as the first one. Several minutes after applying the second layer, smooth the surface out delicately and form an irregular pattern, carving it with the edge of the Venetian float, which should be held perpendicularly to the surface. Smooth the entire surface with the Venetian Float after carving. Leave to dry for min. 12 hours.
STAGE 5
Coat the dry surface with transparent MAGNAT Style Rustic Top Coat Sealer using a roller and then leave it to dry for about 4 hours.
STAGE 6
In order to achieve the decorative effect in the selected colour, cover the created texture with a MAGNAT Style Rustic Top Coat Sealer coloured with Colouring Pigment MAGNAT Style. Each time rub the sealer into a surface of about 0.5 m2 using a sponge, in the direction of the created pitting. 0,5 m2. Next remove the excess sealer with a damp (second) sponge in such a way as to avoid water stains and to ensure that the colour is spread evenly over the entire surface.
