Architectural concrete should not be excessively saturated. Intense scrubbing and the use of strong chemicals is also inadvisable. Such actions can damage the integrity of the top layer of the material, making it more vulnerable to dirt, moisture penetration and other unfavorable factors.
Once the concrete slabs are clean, it is important to rinse off any detergent residue and let the surface completely dry before applying sealer or any other finish.
